The Curacao Immigration and Locator Card are referred to as the Dutch Card. This is a nine-digit ID card that has personal information of an immigrant that s come from the Netherlands. Unlike other national ID cards, this card doesn't have to be renewed annually like most other national ID cards. Instead, it can be activated by visiting the nearest Dutch consulate or even at the immigration office in your own country.

The Netherlands is one of the most preferred countries for immigrants to the United States. Many immigrants from the Netherlands prefer to remain in the Netherlands, rather than move to the USA. However, many immigrants from other European nations want to live in the USA. Many of them require an American social security card to gain entry. There are many reasons why an immigrant would need this kind of ID card. One would be to show that the person is an immigrant, an alien or any other legal status that does not allow one to stay in the country without a government issued identification card.

However, many immigrants from the Netherlands don't want to go through all the hassle just to gain entry in the USA. Some of them have family in the United States already, and they do not want to risk their chance of losing them just to cross the sea to America. Many immigrants from the Netherlands don’t want to wait in line to visit their family members when they visit the USA. The immigrants can apply for an immigrant visa to stay legally in the USA, or obtain a social security card that can be used in Mexico or Canada. This way, they don't have to go through all the hassles of applying for an immigrant visa or social security numbers in order to gain entry in the USA.

Many agencies and officers will check whether an immigrant from the Netherlands is eligible to enter the USA when they apply for an immigrant visa. These agencies and officers are known as ports of entry, and they are responsible for determining whether an immigrant is eligible for entry or not. Each port of entry has its own criteria. Therefore, before an immigrant application is processed, the immigrant will first submit an application to the US immigration authorities for consideration.

After the application has been submitted for consideration to the US immigration authorities, it will then be read and a second set of standards applied to the applicant. After the visa card processing has been completed, the social security number will need to be verified for authenticity. The visa stamp will then be applied to the applicant's documents. If all requirements are met, an immigrant can be issued a visa which will allow him/her to live permanently in the USA. But, before this visa can be issued, it is important that an immigrant must have obtained the necessary visa requirements in the country that he/she is traveling to. Immigrants who have obtained an immigrant visa but do not have the social security card for US residency may be able to still obtain a visitor visa which would allow them to visit the USA for a limited period only.

Curacao immigration is easy to understand since most people speak English as their first language. There are three types of legal immigrants in Curacao, namely, Dutch, Spanish and Korean. Many immigrants from Asia come to the USA to work or study. Students can apply to the US universities. If they are eligible, they will be granted work permits and citizenship. Many South Americans also comes to the USA for work purposes either as agricultural workers or as professionals.
